The Environmental Improvement Committee strives to simultaneously improve the region's environment while maintaing a healthy climate for business. The Committee:

  • Serves as a regional sounding board for both business and government;
  • Advocates regional cooperation on environmental issues;
  • Provides an open discussion and education forum for members; and
  • Coordinates regional business efforts to assist in the development of environmental legislation.
